when i try to add or change my mobile number email address it says that the mobile number email address is already with another account i never created any account with my mobile number email address

When I try to add or change my mobile number/ email address, it says that the mobile number/ email address is already with another account. I never created any account with my mobile number/ email address, what to do?

We do not have this feature on App. Please user Paytm.com website for this feature.

Now you can change your account details without any hassle at Paytm.com

  1. Visit Paytm.com
  2. If you are not logged in: click on ‘Log In/Sign Up’ on the top-right corner of the page and login by entering your registered details (If you are logged in, skip step 2)
  3. Go to your account in the top-right corner and click on ‘View profile’
  4. Click on ‘Edit Profile’

If an account already exists with your mobile number:

  1. Change the existing mobile number to your new mobile number and click on ‘Save’
  2. Enter the OTP sent to your existing mobile number & new mobile number
  3. Click on ‘No, I didn’t’ in the screen that appears
  4. Your account details will be updated with your new mobile number

If an account already exists with your email address:

  1. In case of adding an email for the first time, enter an email address and click on ‘Save’. In case of changing email address, replace the existing email address with your new email address and click on ‘Save’
  2. Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number
  3. A verification link will be sent to your new email address. Go to your email account and click the link sent on email from Paytm to add the email address within 48 hours
  4. Once you click on the link, click on “No, I didn’t” in the screen that appears
  5. Your account details will be updated with your new email address

Note: This feature is currently available on Paytm website only. You will not be able to access this feature on Paytm Mobile App.
